WordPlus 词+ 是一个帮助英语阅读者理解单词的浏览器扩展。当你在网页上选中一个英文单词时，它会显示一个 词+ 浮标；点击后展示释义、构词线索、词源证据，以及可选的 AI 参考分析。
WordPlus 不是数据分析产品、广告产品、账号系统或云同步服务。
以下数据保存在你自己设备的 chrome.storage.local 中，不会上传：

在默认的付费 beta 模式下，你会填入一个 WordPlus 邀请码。邀请码仅存本地，只有在你触发 AI 分析时，才作为授权头发送给 WordPlus AI 服务。
模型提供方的 API Key 只存在于服务器端环境变量，绝不打包进扩展。
进阶用户可自备 API Key。该模式下你的 Key 仅存本地，只发往你自己配置的地址。

WordPlus stores your learning data on your own device. There is no account system, no advertising, no analytics SDK, and we do not sell user data. A word is sent to our server only when you explicitly click "AI 生成".
WordPlus is a browser extension that helps English readers understand words while reading webpages. It shows a floating 词+ button when you select an English word, then displays translation, word-formation clues, etymology evidence, and optional AI-generated reference analysis. WordPlus is not an analytics product, advertising product, account system, or cloud sync service.
Stored in chrome.storage.local on your device: recent words (word, timestamp, and when selected from a webpage, page title and URL; capped at 12 items); AI settings (beta license key, proxy endpoint, optional custom API key and endpoint, model name); AI quota status; and cached AI analyses (capped at 80 items). Online dictionary results are kept in memory while the page is open and are not persisted.
api.dictionaryapi.dev — when a word card is opened, the selected word, to request English definitions, phonetics, and origin text.translate.googleapis.com — when no local translation is available, the selected word, to request a machine translation.ai.wordplusai.cn) — only after you click "AI 生成" or "重新生成". The word plus available translation, English definitions, origin text, and etymology evidence are sent. The service checks the license quota and forwards the request to the configured model provider (e.g. DeepSeek).WordPlus does not send the full webpage body to these services, and does not send page URL or title to the WordPlus AI service or any custom AI endpoint.
In the default paid beta mode, the license key is stored locally and sent to the WordPlus AI service as an authorization header only when you trigger AI analysis. The model provider API key is stored only as a server-side secret and is never shipped in the extension. In custom mode, your API key is stored locally and sent only to the endpoint you configure.
The popup lets you clear recent word history, clear AI settings (including the beta license key and optional custom API key), and clear cached AI analyses. Uninstalling the extension removes all of the above local data.
No accounts, no ads, no analytics SDKs, no cookie reading, no browsing-history tracking, no uploading of full webpage content, and no selling or sharing of user data with third parties.
